Radiologic Technologist, Full-Time

Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing radiographic examinations following established protocols, ensuring accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques. Key Responsibilities Use appropriate techniques to gather relevant exam information, verify patient identity, and assess patient needs. Perform pre- and post-exam patient education. Produce high-quality images at various locations, including bedside, ER, and surgery, adhering to protocols. Maintain radiation safety practices, including shielding and pregnancy checks. Assist radiologists with complex procedures and prepare/administer contrast media per policies and regulations. Ensure exams are completed and ready for interpretation. Participate in departmental meetings, stay proficient with equipment and systems, and mentor students in radiographic techniques. Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain necessary credentials and certifications. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
