Maintenance TechnicianContinental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Maintenance Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals at our beautiful Lost Creek at Lakewood Ranch residential apartment community in Bradenton, FL.You will provide above and beyond customer service and an unmatched level of personal attention to residents. You will address our resident's service needs and will help maintain facility operations. You will report to the Service Supervisor.Position SpecificsFull-TimePay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourAdditional earning potential through position-specific performance incentivesEssential Responsibilities:Providing an Exceptional Resident ExperienceTake pride in the property's overall appearance by regularly walking the grounds to ensure top-notch curb appeal, while delivering outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interactionA team player with a 'no task is too small' mindset! Willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to keep the community looking great and residents happy, even when the work isn't glamorousHands on WorkDiagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more to keep our community running smoothly and making residents comfortableDay-to-Day Maintenance & Community OperationsMaintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, and stepping in for additional needs like unit touch-ups and snow removal (in applicable states)Our communities run on smart technology—you'll use software and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders and keep everything running efficientlySkills for Success:Brings hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade and is ready to hit the ground runningFlexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays when the community needs youPhysically capable of meeting the demands of the role—bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance), and comfortable using technology like computers, tablets, and phones to stay connected and get the job doneWhy You'll Love Life at Continental:Our award-winning culture fosters innovation and empowers our team members to lead.
