Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position is for a day shift working 4 days a week. The assignment length is 13 weeks. The technologist will be part of a team with 2 Interventional Radiologists, 1 Neuro Interventionalist, and 1-2 Vascular Surgeons. The unit is equipped with 3 single-plane IR rooms, 1 biplane room, and 1 hybrid room. Procedures include cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, and various interventions on body parts excluding the heart. Other procedures involve Y90, chemoembolization, venography with intervention, and various biopsies using fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound. The technologist will also assist with venous access, gastrostomy, and managing various drains. Candidates must have experience with angigraphy, nephrograms, and general interventional procedures. Preferred skills include experience with C-Arms, biopsies, ablations, and kyphoplasty. We are not accepting local candidates for this position. The role requires the ability to be on call 5-7 days per month. The work environment is in the operating room and may involve floating to other units as needed. All candidates must be committed to maintaining a sterile field and following safety protocols. Applicants should anticipate working some holidays during the contract period. References will be required for compliance purposes prior to starting the assignment.
