At ThriftBooks, your success is up to you.Our growing, operations-driven company is seeking a Maintenance Program Manager to support automated systems and equipment across multiple distribution centers. This role is responsible for driving preventative maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring safe, efficient facility operations.This is a hands-on, cross-functional position that blends technical problem solving, vendor coordination, and field leadership.The Maintenance Program Manager will oversee maintenance execution and continuous improvement efforts for automated systems, including conveyor and material handling equipment. The role partners closely with site leadership, technicians, and third-party vendors to ensure equipment uptime, safety compliance, and operational consistency.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Establish and reinforce safety-first practices across all maintenance and repair activitiesLead and support on-site technical teams in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing equipment issuesCoordinate with site leadership to prioritize and execute maintenance and repair initiativesManage third-party vendors responsible for conveyor systems, and related automation equipmentOversee and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on automated systemsConduct routine inspections of automation equipment, dock systems, and facility infrastructureIdentify, document, and escalate equipment failures, safety risks, and operational gapsEnsure execution of shift audits, maintenance logs, and system cleanout proceduresTrack and manage maintenance activities through ticketing systems and reporting toolsSupport budget tracking and invoice reconciliation related to maintenance and vendor servicesMaintain accurate records, including spare parts inventory and performance reportsLead CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) implementation and administration effortsProvide operational support across sites as business needs evolveWork EnvironmentThis role operates primarily in active warehouse and industrial environments with exposure to automated machinery and variable site conditions.
