Opportunity Highlights

• Starting Pay: $23.15/hr
• After 90 Days: $23.88/hr
• Career Growth: After 12 months, opportunity to advance to SDS Operator with a $3/hour increase upon certification
• Shift: Rotating shift (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) rotates between 1st (7am-7pm) 3rd (7pm-7am)

Join Tradebe Environmental Services as an SDS Operator Trainee and get paid to learn critical systems that support environmental operations. Over one year, you'll gain the experience needed to become a certified SDS Operator. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with equipment or machine operation experience seeking a stable, long-term career path.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Maintain EHS compliance and promote a safe, environmentally responsible workplace
• Train on and operate the Solids Distillation System (SDS)
• Monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot system controls and components
• Log operating data, perform walkthroughs, and load/unload tankers while maintaining unit cleanliness
• Support supervisors, follow safety protocols (LOTO, confined space, hot work), and complete certification after one year

Do you have what it takes?

High school diploma or GED; experience with industrial or mechanical equipment preferred

Interest in learning thermal desorption systems

Ability to work rotating shifts and on-site in a physical, hands-on environment

Commitment to following strict safety procedures

Basic computer/data entry skills and proficiency in English (read, write, understand)
