RN - CVICU

CVICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday. Floating to other units is required.

We are seeking a skilled CVICU Registered Nurse with at least 1-2 years of critical care experience in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate should be familiar with open heart and neuro cases, as well as working with ICP drains and balloon pumps.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patients' critical conditions and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 1-2 years of CVICU experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with open heart and neuro cases preferred.
