Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity
Ascension Medical Group Via Christi is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon for our team in Wichita, Kansas.
Position highlights:
- Employed opportunity with Ascension Via Christi Medical Group
- High-volume cardiac and thoracic service line with strong referral network
- Collaborative environment with excellent support staff and experienced OR teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive surgical care for cardiac and thoracic patients.
- Participate in call rotation with other cardiothoracic surgeons.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and other specialists to provide integrated care.
- Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty.

What minimum requirements you'll need:
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
