Recreation Therapist (RECT) – Correctional Facility | Represa, CA | Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: upto $69/hr (1099) Nearby Areas: Sacramento Rancho Cordova Elk Grove We are seeking a Recreation Therapist (RECT) to provide structured therapeutic programs in a correctional healthcare setting. This role supports patient rehabilitation through individualized and group-based recreation therapy activities. Key Responsibilities Plan and lead therapeutic recreation sessions Complete functional & behavioral assessments Support coping skills, communication, and social interaction development Collaborate with the clinical team during IDTT meetings Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant documentation Promote a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment Requirements Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation or related field NCTRC/CBRPC-approved fieldwork Minimum 12 months recent clinical experience (internships not accepted) Strong communication and therapeutic facilitation skills Apply today to begin a rewarding role in therapeutic rehabilitation!
