Job Overview Amira Choice of Roseville on Lexington Avenue is a beautifully designed senior living community offering 80 senior units, including Independent/Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. We are hiring a Resident Assistant to provide personal care and improve the physical and emotional well‑being of our assisted living and memory care residents. The position includes on‑the‑job medication training and requires passing medications. Weekend Caregiver Schedule 16 hours every two weeks Evening shift Every other weekend and holiday rotation Responsibilities Assists residents with personal cares including bathing/showering, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing, hearing‑aid and/or glasses assistance, hair care, feeding, toileting, and escorts. Supports 1‑2 person transfers and use of a mechanical lift. Provides health‑related services as directed: assists with treatments per the individualized care plan under the Registered Nurse (RN) (including blood glucose monitoring), administers medication or assists with this under RN direction (including insulin injections), and records vital signs under RN direction. Performs specified home services: laundry per schedule, follows cleaning schedule for the shift worked, delivers meal trays, assists with meal service in the dining room, assists with preparation or facilitation of resident social and recreational activities as assigned. Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff; notifies staff of changes in physical or emotional conditions such as shifts in mood, appetite, or weight. Acts as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment. Offers pertinent observations and input. Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies. Required Qualifications Less than 1 year of relevant experience. Ability to use technology such as computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines. If under 18, must be on the MN NA registry and the site must manage restrictions preventing medication or independent mechanical lift operation. Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of experience.
