Maintenance Technician

Aegis is seeking maintenance technicians to join our client's organization on 2nd shift (2-10 pm). The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

3+ years' experience working in maintenance.
Food manufacturing experience or a similar high speed production line facility experience would be ideal.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot to the component level.
Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems and multi-craft maintenance (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing)
Experience with installation, maintain, and repair production equipment including motors, refrigeration, and heating systems
Solid troubleshooting skills with a track record of minimizing downtime and resolving equipment issues efficiently
Working knowledge of pneumatic systems and controls
General facility maintenance experience - light bulbs for example.
Ability to document work, maintain accurate maintenance records, and communicate equipment conditions clearly
Strong safety mindset with the ability to work effectively across various plant systems and environments

Nice to have:

Certified or experienced in operating PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment
Additional technical schooling
Bachelor or advanced degrees.
Experience working on processing and packaging equipment, including disassembly and reassembly
Willingness to learn additional skills (e.g., welding) and support cross-training efforts
