Our client, a leading taste and nutrition company in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As an Lab Technician, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting various cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the food and flavor industry, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Beloit, WI

Pay Range: $20 - $30/hr Depending on Experience

What's the Job?

• Prepare and maintain an organized inventory of raw materials and finished goods for the Research and Development teams, ensuring all items are readily available when needed.
• Maintain laboratories and laboratory storage rooms in strict accordance with Good Laboratory Practices, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Efficiently manage the dispatch of all associated samples for Research and Development projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Regional Research and Development, to ensure that samples are dispatched promptly and meet all project requirements.
• Operate Pilot Plant machinery, creating batches of samples for testing, etc.

• Demonstrates a strong ability to meticulously follow precise protocols, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
• Exhibits excellent organizational abilities and time management skills, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
• Driven by a deep passion for the food and flavor industry, continuously seeking to enhance knowledge and contribute to innovative developments in the field.
• Preferably a certificate, diploma, or higher educational qualification.
• Preferably 1-2 years of valuable experience in the Food and Beverage industry, demonstrating practical knowledge and expertise that is highly desirable.
