Primary Care Medical Assistant

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00 (5x8)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an adult outpatient/internal medicine clinic.
• Recent experience required (worked in this setting within the last 6 months).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
• Preferred: MA-C license; MA-R accepted only with prior experience in a similar setting.
• Key clinical skills include: vital signs, rooming patients, 12-lead EKG, venipuncture, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, immunizations, and telephone triage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Room patients and manage flow within the clinic.
• Conduct routine procedures such as immunizations and Medicare wellness exams.
• Collect and process various specimens, including blood and urine.
• Provide patient education and perform required tests as directed.
• Assist with administrative tasks including pharmacy refill calls.

Compliance / Notes:

• Required documents: Current license, copies of certifications, references, and possible proof of address.
• Candidate must have recent clinic experience within the last 6 months.
