This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring project efficiency, maintaining safety compliance, and driving company profitability. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Plan, schedule, and manage all commercial roofing projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise roofing crews, foremen, and subcontractors to optimize performance. Scheduling & Coordination: Manage workforce schedules, materials, and equipment to ensure seamless project execution. Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, reduce waste, and improve efficiency to maximize profitability. Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship meets industry and company standards. Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing concerns and providing updates. Vendor & Supplier Management: Coordinate with vendors for materials, negotiate pricing, and manage subcontractor agreements. Problem-Solving: Address unexpected project challenges, weather-related delays, and technical issues effectively. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project reports, budgets, and job site documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial roofing and at least 2 years in a managerial role. Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and improve operational efficiency. Project Management: Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating large-scale projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software, MS Office, and estimating tools. Safety Compliance: Understanding of OSHA standards and safety regulations. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and client interaction. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze project issues and implement effective solutions. Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.
