Lead Mold Maker
Hanson International, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, specializes in the design, build, sample, and inspection of precision molds – primarily for the die cast industry. Hanson International is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a night shift lead mold maker position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management.
- Machining of die components in a CNC machine tool (Milltronics preferred).
- Fitting die components to cavity and holder blocks
- Die spotting and bluing.
- Assembly and disassembly of dies.
- Plumbing of cooling circuits.
- Understand all machining processes used in mold/die manufacturing.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years in building die cast dies.
- Journeyman mold maker certificate.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma.
- Active learning, good judgment, and time management skills.
- Strong math and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team to achieve goals.
- Good mechanical knowledge.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
