Industrial Engineer

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full-time Industrial Engineer in the Chattanooga, TN area. Key Responsibilities Improve manufacturing efficiency through process optimization and Lean initiatives. Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, time studies, and line balancing. Improve throughput, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Specify, source, and implement manufacturing tooling and equipment. Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentation. Support new product launches and production ramp‑ups. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues. Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of Manufacturing, Process, Industrial or similar Engineering experience. Strong process improvement and data analysis skills. Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
