• Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - General Anesthesiology
• Employment Type: CRNA Position
• Healthcare Setting: Busy anesthesia care environment
• Start Date: 04/11/2026
• Duration: 68 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 4-5 shifts per week, based on scheduling needs
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,130 - $7,520
• Case Types: General and Orthopedic Surgery
• Charting System: Cerner EMR
• Supervision: MD supervision in place

CRNA Job Requirements

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• At least 1 year of CRNA experience preferred
• Ability to work scheduled daytime shifts and remain flexible with case coverage needs
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to anesthesia care

CRNA Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient history
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological status throughout procedures
• Provide clinical intervention as needed to support safe patient outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the perioperative care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
