Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student health and well-being as a dedicated 1:1 School Nurse. This full-time position is based near Monroeville, PA, working directly with a student who requires comprehensive seizure monitoring, care, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Your clinical expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe learning environment, as you provide individualized nursing care within a welcoming educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN/LVN license in Pennsylvania (active and in good standing)
• Previous school-based nursing experience preferred
• Confidence in managing seizure disorders, including the administration of emergency medications and protocols
• Comfortable providing personal care and ADL support
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, and medical professionals
• Ability to respond effectively in urgent situations
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding student privacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day, focusing on seizure recognition, monitoring, and intervention as needed
• Support the student with ADLs ensuring safety, dignity, and engagement
• Document all care provided and communication regarding medical needs or incidents
• Implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency protocols
• Collaborate with school staff to promote a healthy, inclusive classroom environment
• Serve as a reliable resource for health education and advocacy for your assigned student
