Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Location 79 Jefferson St, HH Bliss Wing (10064) Shift / Schedule Interventional Technologist – First shift. Mandatory call required. New Hire eligible for sign‑on bonus up to $10,000. Summary The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital imaging equipment and performs complex invasive procedures, including positioning patients and preparing contrast media, to assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities Operate digital imaging equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Position patients and prepare contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiation agents, cements, resins, and embolization agents. Perform procedures in multiple modalities including OR, Cath lab, and other imaging departments as needed. Manage mandatory on‑call duties as required. Qualifications State of Connecticut radiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Education Graduate from an accredited radiography program. Experience At least one year as a radiologic technologist required; 1–2 years interventional radiology experience preferred.
