Help Desk Technician II Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 54,000.00 to $ 63,500.00 / annually
• First Shift

We're seeking an experienced IT professional who can independently administer and troubleshoot established business technology environments. Success requires strong technical fundamentals, sound judgment, and the ability to investigate unfamiliar issues rather than rely only on scripted procedures. Experience with every platform is not required; networking, virtualization, systems administration, and client-support fundamentals should transfer across tools.

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, server, and infrastructure environments
• Resolve complex service tickets using remote support, ticketing, RMM, and PSA tools
• Diagnose end-user hardware, software, printing, and network issues and document root cause and resolution
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical clients while delivering an exceptional service experience
• Create complete, defensible technical documentation and travel to client sites when needed

Help Desk Technician II Qualifications:

• Meaningful professional IT support and systems-administration experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, operating systems, business applications, IT hardware, and network systems
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, NAT, VPNs, and wireless networking
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, listening, communication, and client-service skills
• Experience with remote support, technical service tickets, ticketing systems, RMM, and PSA software
• Ability to learn unfamiliar platforms quickly, type accurately while assisting clients, and adapt in a fast-paced IT environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive to client sites

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA, Microsoft 365, ITIL/ITSM, Helpdesk Habits, or equivalent certifications
• Managed Service Provider or IT support-business experience
• Experience mentoring junior staff or supporting technical projects
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune, Azure, Proxmox, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, backup systems, endpoint security/EDR, UniFi, and PowerShell
