Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Neuro PCU Experience
- Active Michigan RN License
- Active American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification
- Active NIHSS Certification
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (PCU)
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as per physician's plan of care and accepted standards of evidence-based nursing practice.
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, education, and assistance with transfers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise plans as necessary.
- Provide leadership and direction to support staff, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Stay compliant with local, state, and federal regulations as well as facility-specific policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource for team members and participate in interdisciplinary discussions to set goals and outcomes for each patient.
