Summary

The Sr. Software Engineer in domain Gateway will contribute to design sessions, perform coding and code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, ensure quality deliverables/releases and will adhere to the established SDLC guidelines. The candidate should have knowledge of gateway design pattern? familiar with cloud-based gateway solution or open source gateway framework. Familiar with Microservice architecture.

• Debugs code across n-tiers of code
• Implements unit testing within own code.
• Leads peer code reviews
• Leads effort to drive overall code testability
• May provide guidance and training to enable other team members to meet/exceed expectations.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on multiple projects concurrently.
• Establishes on-time and on-budget project goals.
• Maintains status of project and monitors activities of team members.
• Works across teams to achieve group goals.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Participates in user/external group discussions.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7 years of software development experience
• Advanced product and business knowledge
• Familiar with two or more tiers of code
• English writing, reading skill is mandatory, plus if spoken English fluent.
• SME with one tier of code
• Able to implement new features spanning n-tiers of code with minimal supervision
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile scrum development process
• Participates in all Agile scrum ceremonies
• Contributes to improving processes and tools that relate to the team’s execution and overall productivity
• Experience with SQL Server database development using T-SQL, knows the basic of query optimization and performance tuning
• Familiar with and contributes to engineering best practices
• Plus to familiar with Azure API management service.
• Plus to familiar with open source gateway framework, like Ocelot, Envoy etc..
• In-depth knowledge of JWT and claims-based authorization
• Understanding of information security best-practices
• Able to write and debug MS SQL Stored procedures
• Able to write clear, understandable unit tests that cover all functional requirements
