Telehealth-Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for Clinical Research Trial

Active North Carolina Dietitian Licensure required.

Position Summary:

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for a part-time, 100% remote Telehealth role supporting a long-term weight management clinical research study . This position focuses on providing structured nutrition and lifestyle counseling to adult participants enrolled in a medication-based research program.

The anticipated workload is approximately 2-6 hours per week supporting up to 30 active participants . The ideal candidate is experienced in weight management counseling, comfortable following standardized study protocols, and skilled at delivering effective care in a virtual setting.

Position Details

• Part-timeschedule: Average 2-6 hours per week
• Participantload: Up to 30 activeparticipants
• Visitstructure:
• One initial baselinenutrition assessment
• Ongoing scheduled follow-upcounseling sessions over the course of the study
• Visitformat: Allservices delivered remotely via Telehealth
• Scheduling: Flexible hours based onparticipant availability, typically between 9AM-1PM
• Compensation: $37.00-$40.00 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initialnutrition assessments and establish individualized care plans consistent with studyguidelines.
• Provide ongoingnutrition and lifestyle counseling during scheduled Telehealth visits.
• Deliver evidence-basedguidance related to:
• Calorie intake andmacronutrient balance
• Protein and hydration needs
• Sustainable behavior changestrategies
• Physical activity support
• Review participantself-reported diet and activity information prior to counseling sessions.
• Accurately document allencounters andparticipant progress in accordance with study requirements.
• Communicate professionallywith internal research staff as needed to support study objectives.
• Maintain strictconfidentiality and comply with all documentation and privacy standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from anaccredited program.
• Registeredby the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Active NC dietitian licensure
• Demonstrated experience inweight management and familiarity with related treatments.
• Proficiency in Telehealthtechnologies for the delivery of remote counseling services.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diversepopulations.
• Self-motivated with strongorganizational skills and a commitment to patient privacy.
