Assistant Showroom Manager

Redwood Outdoors sells the fastest-growing category in wellness: premium outdoor saunas and cold plunges. We’re expanding fast with showrooms in Seattle, LA, New York, and Salt Lake City plus more locations coming next year. And you’re selling a product people are genuinely excited to buy. This is not cold outbound or low-ticket volume work. You’re guiding customers through a multi-thousand-dollar wellness purchase, building trust, and closing warm, engaged buyers. What You'll Do in the Role: Handle warm, inbound calls and emails from customers already interested in saunas and cold plunges. Guide customers through a consultative process to select the perfect fit for their home and health and wellness needs, ensuring it meets their lifestyle and goals. Own the deal start to finish from first contact to close, managing your own pipeline. Become the go-to product expert on our full sauna and cold plunge lineup. Hit revenue and conversion targets while keeping customer satisfaction high. Repeat and referral business matters here. Serve as a keyholder for the showroom: open and close the location per company procedures, including arming/disarming the security system. Complete opening and closing checklists, ensuring the showroom floor, displays, and back-of-house areas are secure, presentable, and ready for business. Serve as an onsite point of contact for facility or vendor issues (e.g., deliveries, maintenance, alarm response) during open hours. Note: this is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports or supervisory responsibility over other staff. What You'll Need for the Role: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a consultative product sales environment GED or High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build customer rapport quickly and maintain that relationship throughout the sales process. Proven written and verbal communication skills Comfort with learning and using software applications required for the role Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position Occasional travel to sales event locations may be required Work Schedule & Location: Schedule: 40 hours a week, Wednesday-Sunday, 8-hour shift between 11 AM – 7 PM Location: 660 S 400 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 Compensation: As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and education/certification(s).
