Job Description

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity this summer supporting students’ growth and success as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Serve an energetic, welcoming district located near Ridgefield, CT, providing essential expertise for the Extended School Year (ESY) session. Key Experience and Qualifications:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, particularly in a classroom or small group setting
Familiarity with the functions of behavior, assessment tools, and data-driven interventions in educational environments
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills to consult with staff and families
Ability to adapt interventions to students with a range of support needs

Key Responsibilities:

Serve two school sites during ESY, supporting both elementary and secondary students
Oversee a caseload of 15 students, including direct and consultative services
Provide expertise to the elementary behavior classroom, collaborating closely with staff
Conduct/interpret functional behavior assessments and develop supportive plans
Train and support school personnel in implementing positive behavioral interventions
Monitor progress, collect and interpret data, and adjust supports as needed

This assignment runs from July 6 to August 13, 2026, with work hours from 8:00 am to 11:30 am, Monday to Thursday. Enjoy a manageable caseload, an opportunity to truly impact students’ summer learning, and valuable experience working across both elementary and secondary populations.
