Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for its Brawley, California location covering multiple surrounding areas. The role involves performing blood collections, specimen preparation, patient data entry, and billing tasks across varying clinic sites, with a flexible schedule Monday–Friday plus occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
• Travel to multiple clinic and patient service center locations as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience
• California state-issued Phlebotomy Certification (CPT)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to complete 2-week training in California

Compensation: $23.00–$33.00 per hour, plus $1.50/hour float incentive and mileage reimbursement
