Pay Range: $70,000–$90,000 + OT, based on experience

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and supporting customers in a technical field environment.

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Field Service Technician, you will:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot nitrogen-producing plants at customer sites
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, control systems, and related equipment
• Diagnose field issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide technical support as needed
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Coordinate contractors, resources, audits, and site-related administrative tasks
• Plan and prioritize work to keep plant operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates will ideally have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred
• 2–5 years of operations, maintenance, field service, process control, or related industrial experience
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience with compressors, instrumentation, control systems, or industrial equipment
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to read or understand process control schematics
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Military engineering or technical experience is a plus.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

This role may require:

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Climbing, working at heights, and entering confined spaces
• Driving a service truck
• Working in a mix of field, plant, office, and customer-site environments
• Flexibility for extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage when needed
