This role is crucial for ensuring that patients receive appropriate care while managing healthcare resources effectively. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct utilization reviews to assess the appropriateness of patient admissions and continued stays.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Document patient assessments and review findings accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding care options and resources.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN license for the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- COVID vaccination card.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN Case Manager in Utilization Review.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the Cerner charting system is required.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts (5x8) from Monday to Friday.
- Weekly Pay: Includes taxable wages and per diems (non-taxable stipend) if eligible.
