About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: 4 nights - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 4 mids - variable shifts (2:00 PM to 2:00 AM) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: At least 1 year License: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and preferred TNCC Must-Have: - BSN - BLS (CPR) Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
