Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This full-time travel position involves working in a busy emergency department with a focus on critical patient care. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day of employment. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Details:

• Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on June 15, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Active Compact license, Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), or Pediatric Trauma Life Support (TCRN). Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience in a hospital setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a free-standing emergency department environment, certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN), or Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN).
• Additional Information:
  • Every other weekend working with no on-call requirement
  • Unit handles approximately 11 beds with a staffing model that includes 16 staff members
  • EMR system used is Meditech
  • Typical skills include performing emergency procedures in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independence, critical thinking, adaptability, and strong clinical and relational attributes
