Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure along with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 1900-0730, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC

Additional Information

• Coordinate and provide high quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Evaluate discharge plans and adjust based on patient needs
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses accurately
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with the full healthcare team to maintain safe, high-quality care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies
