AccountantSpring Hill $26 – $38 per hour Accounting & FinanceAbout the Opportunity – AccountantWe are partnering with a growing organization to identify a skilled Accountant who will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while contributing to process improvements and business growth.Key Responsibilities – AccountantPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial data and prepare reports for management reviewReconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accountsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededEnsure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirementsAssist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controlsQualifications – AccountantBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, or related environmentStrong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Experience with accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsCPA designation or CPA-track experience preferred but not required
