Cashier - $15/hr.

Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide customer service. Describe menu items and answer guest questions. Quickly and accurately take orders and payments behind the cashier counter and in the drive‑through. Maintain a sense of urgency to handle long lines efficiently. Work as a team player to help and serve guests and colleagues. Pass out food orders to guests, including using rhyme or freestyle skills as needed. Take catering and take‑out orders over the phone. Check online, catering and phone orders for accuracy, accept payment, serve alcoholic beverages (must be 21), and help guests plan special events. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages. Previous experience working at Portillo’s for at least one year with an average of 20 hours per week over a 6‑month period is preferred for benefits eligibility. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and holidays. Good communication and customer service skills. Compensation $15 per hour. $2 per hour for hours worked after 11:00pm. $2 per hour when working outside in temperatures below 33°F. $3 per hour when working on holidays*. Benefits Flexible schedules.
