Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including production planning, materials planning, logistics, warehouse management, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and customer teams.

This role requires strong operational execution capability in a manufacturing environment, ideally within automotive, battery, chemicals, electronics, or other fast-paced industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Materials Planning

• Lead production planning and materials planning activities to ensure alignment with customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, raw material availability, and production constraints to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery performance.

Logistics & Transportation

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service levels and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations and internal logistics procedures.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and material flow efficiency.
• Establish and improve warehouse processes, storage strategies, and inventory control systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory turnover, warehouse utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure safe material handling practices and compliance with company EHS standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, finance, quality, and customer teams to support operational targets.
• Support ERP/MRP system optimization and supply chain data accuracy.
• Develop KPIs and reporting related to inventory, logistics cost, delivery performance, and planning effectiveness.
• Build and develop a high-performing local supply chain team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination capability.
• Chinese language ability is a plus, but not required.
