We are looking for a preschool teacher committed to helping children learn, play, grow, and thrive and providing the tools they need to succeed academically and emotionally. - A genuine passion for the education and care of children and babies?
- Atleast 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a childcare facility and caring for toddlers, infants and/or babies (required)? 3-4 years of experience with babies, is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification?
- Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirement?
- CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition is a common requirement.
- Associate's Degree: An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is another option.
- Technical Certificates/Diplomas: A Technical College Diploma (TCD) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development also meets the requirement.
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree, especially in Early Childhood Education, is another acceptable qualification.
- Other Credentials: In some cases, 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development may be accepted.
