This role focuses on accurately staging, verifying, and sanitizing all materials that enter the facility before they move into the cleanroom manufacturing areas. You will handle items of various sizes, maintain strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and work independently in a highly repetitive, detail-oriented environment to ensure materials are clean, correctly documented, and ready for use in biologics production.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, and sanitize every item that arrives through the dock doors before it enters the cleanroom areas.
• Handle a wide range of materials, from small hand tools and instruments to large parts for autoclaves and biologics skids.
• Verify that the quality, type, and quantity of materials received are correct and match the accompanying documentation, such as packing lists.
• Ensure all required documentation is present and accurate for each shipment and staged item.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to move materials within the dock, warehouse, and staging areas.
• Stage materials in the correct locations to support efficient cleanroom and manufacturing operations.
• Follow and maintain GMP compliance when moving through transition spaces between dock doors, warehouse rooms, and manufacturing rooms.
• Perform gowning procedures correctly and consistently when entering transition spaces and controlled areas.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all staging and material handling activities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus on repetitive tasks.
• Pay close attention to detail to avoid errors in counting, verification, documentation, and sanitation.
• Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and compliance protocols when working with disinfectants and cleaning agents.
• Support core room operations by ensuring materials are prepared, sanitized, and available as needed.
• Walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs on a continuous basis to complete daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in staging and material handling in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail for counting, verifying, and documenting materials.
• Comfort working in a highly repetitive role with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow strict gowning procedures and maintain GMP compliance.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs continuously.
• Comfort working around disinfectants, including sporicidal agents with strong odors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience staging materials specifically for cleanroom or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and sanitizing processes.
• Experience handling a variety of materials, from small instruments to large equipment components.
• Ability to read and interpret packing lists and basic shipping documentation.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability when working independently.
• Comfort working in a core room environment with specialized biologics production.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite role scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with all functions based in a core room environment. You will work under GMP protocols, which include no fake nails, no nail extensions, no nail polish, and no jewelry while on the job. Daily work requires full gowning, including gown, gloves, and shoe covers, when entering controlled or transition areas. The work involves continuous walking, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs. The facility uses a sporicidal disinfectant that has a strong odor, often described as similar to caesar salad or feet, and you must be comfortable working regularly in this environment. You will operate pallet jacks and handle materials in warehouse and staging areas that directly support cleanroom and manufacturing operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.21 - $21.13/hr.
