Job Overview We're on the lookout for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our store, providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restocking supplies like bags and receipts as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems and retail math is advantageous.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining excellent customer service.
