Project ManagerThe Project Manager proactively contributes to the development and execution of contracts by managing the resulting orders of new units and repairs throughout all phases of the manufacturing process. This full-time role collaborates with customer representatives and all Ideal departments to ensure a final product that meets the customer's design and quality requirements. The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by the ITAR (22 C.F.R. § 120.62) or be able to obtain the appropriate U.S. government authorization (export license) to access such technology or technical data. U.S. Person status is required for this position.U.S. Person definition: A U.S. Person includes a citizen of the United States, a permanent resident alien (Green Card holder), a refugee, or a person granted asylum.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Acknowledge orders to the customerParticipate in and/or lead internal kick-off meetingsCommunicate with customers on schedule, shipping, invoicing, witness testing, questions, etc.Communicate internally with internal departments such as Management, Operations, Engineering, Sales, etc.Respond to and process customer transmittals and submittalsDocument jobs by use of photographySchedule logistics solutionsInspect completed orders prior to shipmentPrepare in-process inspection plans when requiredLead tours of the factoryEscort customers during witness testingTravel when neededDesired Qualifications & Competencies:Three years (preferred) previous project management experienceExperience working with customers and vendors in a B2B environmentTeamwork approach with excellent communication skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving capabilityExceptional attention to detail and time-management skillsTechnical literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite, project management, and ERP systemsWorking Conditions and Work Hours:Daily minimum of 8 hours. Weekly 40 hour minimum.Must be willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.This position generally operates in a professional office environment.Travel may be required (likely 25%).
