Description TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Admin Support / Records Management professional to support government operations, records lifecycle management, information management, FOIA support, and administrative program functions in the Arlington, VA area. This position supports the federal government, and all applicants must be local to the Arlington, VA area. The Senior Admin Support / Records Management role serves as a key records management resource responsible for maintaining official agency files, supporting records compliance, managing document intake and organization, and assisting with information management activities. This position requires senior-level administrative experience, strong records management knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support federal records processes from creation through disposition. This position supports a Government office environment responsible for administrative management, records management, information dissemination, FOIA support, mail and file support, conference room readiness, and related office operations. The Senior Admin Support / Records Management professional helps ensure official documents are properly received, classified, organized, stored, tracked, secured, archived, and disposed of in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements. Responsibilities:- Maintain, organize, and manage official records throughout the full records lifecycle, from creation through disposition.
- Serve as a primary records management point of contact and support compliance with federal records requirements.
- Inventory, scan, label, file, retrieve, and update records in electronic databases and information management systems.
- Support records disposition, transfer, archiving, retention schedules, and coordination with records management stakeholders.
- Assist with FOIA-related administrative support, including tracking requests, organizing responsive documents, and supporting reporting requirements.
- Train staff on records management policies, procedures, best practices, onboarding requirements, and offboarding records processes.
- Maintain records inventories, library holdings, project/program report databases, and related analysis reports.
- Support administrative management functions, including document flow, process improvements, data entry, reporting, and file clean-up activities.
- Use systems such as SharePoint and other information management platforms to update, verify, and retrieve records and data.
- Provide additional administrative, technical, and operational support as needed, including file movement and event-related AV troubleshooting.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and retain a SECRET security clearance.
- College degree required in business, information management, or related certifications.
- At least 10 total years of related work experience.
- At least 5 years of records management experience, including Freedom of Information Act information management.
- Experience creating and implementing records management policies, procedures, and retention schedules.
- Experience evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvements.
- Experience providing training and technical assistance to staff.
- Strong computer skills, including database, word processing, and data entry skills.
- Proficiency with commercial software packages and databases, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to innovative and quality customer service.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond flexibly and provide rapid assistance in a time-sensitive environment.
- Physical ability to move large numbers of files and/or file boxes.
- Experience with records management; records management training or certification preferred.
- Experience with administrative services such as office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and/or policies and procedures.
- Ability to provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment during events.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.

The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
