• We are hiring immediately for a full time  COOK, SR position.
• Address : 1 Grand Ave. Bldg. 112, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407 (Hiring for multiple locations: Kai Poke, Pom & Honey, Noodles, and more.) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full time schedules. Open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement : At least 1-2 years of cooking in a high volume fast paced environment experience required.

Job Summary

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff.
