Our friendly and knowledgeable staff teams provide support throughout our many specialty departments and centers, from primary visits to emergency care.The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 28-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and surgical intensive care for children from birth to 21 years old. As Maryland's only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU, the PICU cares for children up to 15 years of age with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, and neonatal and pediatric ECMO. Our surgical services encompass extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in nursing (Required)RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)CPR - Basic CPR (Required)Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)2 years of nursing experience (Preferred)Prior Pediatric Critical Care experience (Preferred)We're proud to offer a robust benefits package that supports your health, growth, and well-being. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
