Their primary responsibility is to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. Their duties can vary, but include:* Responsible for the evaluation and/or implementation of a treatment program for all referred patients.* Responsible for contributing to the development and the upgrading of treatment programs and protocols.* Responsible for the development and achievement of departmental goals, objectives, and performance improvement indicators.* Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within appropriate time frame.* The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.* The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan.**Requirements:*** Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication Disorders for Speech Pathology from an accredited institution by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)* New graduates accepted but experience is preferred.* Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky and Certified.* Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year Eligible.* BLS Certification Required.**Benefits: PRN (As Needed)*** Preventive Plan* Retirement Plans* Flimp Decisions - Flimp Decisions will help you pick the best value plan option given your expected medical needs.
