Job Description
Title
Cardiac Nuclear Tech - SPECT / Cardiac PET

Schedule
- Shift: Varies between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: Occasional weekend day call (Saturday/Sunday/Holidays 7 AM-5 PM)

Assignment Details
- Daily Census: ~10 cases per site
- Locations: 4 SPECT sites + 1 Cardiac PET (techs rotate through all sites)

Requirements
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT(N)
- Minimum: 1 year of experience (1st-time travelers accepted)
- Preferred: Previous charge experience
- License: GA or compact license required at the time of submission
- EMR: Epic (required)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear cardiology procedures including SPECT and Cardiac PET
- Conduct myocardial perfusion imaging and other nuclear studies
- Administer stress protocols: exercise/rest and pharmacologic stress (adenosine, persantine)
- Start and maintain IVs

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Compliance documents deadline: Tuesday prior to start
- RTO (Request Time Off): Max 7 days; required with submission
- RTO blackout period: Spring Break April 4-12
- Holiday coverage: Expected to work during major holidays with specific conditions
