Cardio Thoracic Surgical Technologist
This is a 13-week contract position.
4x10 Hour Day Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM with on-call requirements.
The Cardio Thoracic Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting with cardiothoracic surgical procedures within a busy operating room environment. The position requires a minimum of 10 call shifts per month, supporting an average of 55 surgical cases daily.
Assist in a variety of cardiothoracic surgical procedures such as CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, and VATS.
Maintain a sterile environment and support the surgical team during procedures.
Be available for on-call assignments as required, including evenings and weekends.
Float to general OR as needed and support learning in different surgical techniques.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist in a cardiothoracic setting.
Current BLS certification.
Valid Washington State License.
NBSTSA certification is preferred.
Experience with flexible endoscope reprocessing and care of scopes.
