Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every 3rd weekend required (Friday/Saturday).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure safe and effective delivery of neonatal and maternal care.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and interventions for patients during labor and postpartum.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Provide support during high-risk deliveries and assist in surgical procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current RN license and BSN required.
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
