Procurement Specialist
Our client, a leading biotechnology organization, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) supporting multiple projects aimed at integrating operational processes across various entities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
- Process supplier and GBS inquiries and escalations efficiently and accurately
- Prioritize inquiries based on urgency and respond promptly
- Resolve issues independently where possible and communicate effectively with suppliers
- Understand escalation procedures and route issues to responsible parties for resolution
- Build and maintain a comprehensive directory of responsible parties for effective issue resolution
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a bonus
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, especially with suppliers and end-users
- Experience in customer-oriented work environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
