Immediate need for a talented Clinical Laboratory Scientist. This is a 13 Weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mammoth Lakes CA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Compensation Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation. Regular Pay: $25/hr Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,338.75/weekly Weekly Gross Pay: $ 2,238.75 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: varied shifts
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours [Hours per Facility]
• Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, serology, and microscopy to support the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Accurately examine, analyze, and interpret laboratory test results.
• Maintain proficiency in venous phlebotomy procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Contribute to a safe patient environment by maintaining high standards of laboratory quality and efficiency.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and graduate of an accredited School of Medical Technology.
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLS) License.
• ASCP Certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology).
• Two (2) years of Medical Technology experience preferred.
• Furnished dorm-style housing is available (subject to availability) at a monthly rental cost.
• Housing options include one-bedroom apartments and studio apartments, each with a private kitchen/kitchenette and private bathroom.
• Apartments are fully furnished and include Wi-Fi, cable TV, and essential appliances.
• Community amenities include a fitness room, swimming pool, fireplace lounge, ping-pong, and foosball.
