Quality Assurance AnalystDevelop, execute and implement test plans, test cases and test scripts for applications built upon a.NET application platformAnalyze test cases and understand business requirement documents to become an SMEWrite, publish and maintain test plans, test cases and test scriptsThink critically to evaluate applications for potential scenarios where testing couldPublish and communicate test results and test plan statuses using established processesWork closely/collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Dev, PM, Ops)Participate in all aspects of functional, regression, user acceptance and load testingProvide resource estimates, analysis and planning for test effortsCoordinate with Network Services team to ensure required test platforms are availableReview processes for complianceDesign and maintain test data for projectsParticipate in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessionsIntegrate test specifications into design specificationsEstablish test metrics as required by the QA StandardsEnsure builds in the various environments meet documented and apparent business needs and user requirementsInstall, configure and use tools to automate functional testingOther duties as described in summary, as assigned, or apparent.BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related rolesFive (5) years software testing experience with regression testing, integration testing, load and performance testingExperience writing black box and GUI test cases, designing tests to mitigate risks and helping business experts define requirementsExperience in context-based, exploratory, or scenario testingExperience with testing of web servicesExtensive backend testing, understands data mapping, ETL and write complex SQL/Procs is crucial due to the quantity of data involved in all ADE projectsExperience with Enterprise and knowledge of the education systemAt least one year of experience with scripting languages (JavaScript), and/or open source test tools (such as Fit, FitNesse, Canoo WebTest, HtmlUnit or others) and/or commercial test tool scripting languages and/or programming in any languageKnowledge of and experience with TFS, MS Test and test automation is preferredAbility to effectively collaborate with programmers and business experts requiredAbility to work as part of a self-directed team, in which tasks are determined on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers, rather than being assignedDemonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisionsAbility to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environmentAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy apply Vtech Solution Inc
