Building the Future of Behavioral Health Columbia, MD | Hybrid Schedule What You’ll Do As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our collaborative treatment environment. Clinical Responsibilities Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults. Work in person at our Columbia, MD location from 12:30‑8:30 PM with a flexible one‑day option to work from home. Develop and maintain person‑centered, trauma‑informed treatment plans. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level‑of‑care determinations. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight, empowerment, and recovery. Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational, and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care. Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning. Provide case management services such as coordinated care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate. Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care, measured through clinical outcomes such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, and transition between care levels. Provide crisis support through a shared on‑call rotation. Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely. Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation & Schedule Salary: up to $100,000 annually. Incentive compensation is tied to clinical group participation and engagement; therapists may earn additional compensation per participant in their assigned therapy groups.
