Staff Pharmacist – Infusion Pharmacy

Location: Clarksville, TN – On-site
Pay: $65–$80/hour, negotiable based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Our client is seeking a patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join its growing infusion pharmacy team. You’ll help ensure medications are dispensed safely and accurately while collaborating with pharmacy technicians, nurses, and prescribing providers.

Infusion and sterile compounding experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for pharmacists interested in entering the home infusion space.

What You’ll Do

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
• Evaluate drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing considerations
• Communicate with prescribers and care teams regarding therapy recommendations
• Ensure accurate medication dispensing, labeling, and documentation
• Support sterile compounding in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards
• Maintain proper lot tracking and inventory management practices
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
• Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians as needed

What You’ll Bring

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License or ability to obtain before starting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Interest in infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy
• Infusion or sterile compounding experience preferred but not required
