Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CVICU) registered nurse position is located on the second floor of a healthcare facility specializing in cardiac care. This role involves providing specialized patient care for cardiac and post-operative cardiac patients, managing complex medical conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position supports the organization's commitment to delivering exceptional critical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification, at least 3 years of ICU/CVICU experience, and at least 1 year of ventilator/cardiac drip experience. Candidate must pass facility-specific cardiac rhythm knowledge exam with a score of 90% or higher.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac ICU and/or step down/progressive care experience.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to ICU or other inpatient units as needed.
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, and outgoing personality. Scrub color for RNs is navy blue; for PCTs, royal blue. Unacceptable attire includes sweatshirts and T-shirts, and facial piercings must be removed or covered with flesh-colored accessories. Previous critical care experience and at least 2 years of progressive care experience are preferred.
